Forget Me Not Village – Mini

Changing the way we view and treat dementia

Forget Me Not Village – Mini

We will be opening within a month for residents, family, and friends. We are changing the way dementia is typically treated by offering “active” activities such as Rock Steady Boxing, water aerobics, massage, and healing Qigong. For information on becoming a resident please contact us at 541.210.8015 or stop by and see us at 2028 NE Airport Rd. Roseburg, OR.

Our Services

The Forget Me Not Village – Mini will be offering a number of different services to assist our residents and guest.

Family Care Home

In the family care home residents will live with a loved one who will receive help and support in caring for their loved one. Each resident will have their own living quarters, kitchenette and bathrooms, and share a dining room, kitchen, and living room. Residents will have access to all facilities on the property.

Gym

Our onsite gym is home to Rock Steady Boxing of Roseburg. Rock Steady Boxing is a special program that gives people with Parkinson’s disease hope by improving their quality of life through a non-contact boxing based fitness curriculum.

Pool

Residents and guest of the gym will have access to pool. Whether to cool down on a hot day or after an intense work-out, or participating in a water aerobics class or pool is the place to be.

Plans for the full-size Forget Me Not Village are still being developed. Your support is greatly appreciated as we continue on the journey to changing the way dementia is viewed and treated.

Don’t forget to join me every first and third Thursday at 2 PM for a live Streamcast. I’ll interview different guest, give updates on construction, and share information! Visit us on Facebook or YouTube.
